Michelle Kwan bowed out of the competition. She reinjured her groin, and decided she would not be able to compete to the best of her ability therefore she didn't think it fair for her to compete. Emily Hughes, little sister of Salt Lake City gold winner Sarah Hughes, is going to take Kwan's place.

I knew Kwan wasn't well enough to do this. Now Hughes has to wait until weather conditions clear so she can fly out to Torino. She's on tv now.

I still wish there was a way Timothy could somehow get into the games.

We won our first gold in Men's Speedskating. Now tonight, Apolo makes his grand debut in shorttrack.

All of the sports are so awesome. I'd love to go to the winter olympics, I wish there was a sport I was good at so I could compete. Although these games are not as magical as the ones four years ago. This year, it seems all of the expected gold medalists aren't even qualifying.

If you look closely, you will notice that America is the only country that has competitors with nationalities other than American.

In the men's something-or-other (I think it was cross-country skiing), the race started off with an ugly pile-up, since they all start so close that they went down like dominoes, but one of those who went down was a favorite for the medal. Everyone got up and on their way, except for him. his ski was damaged. So he got a new ski and took off, horribly behind. That's when two of those involved in the crash headed to the front of the pack and slowed the pace down, giving him a chance to catch up. He ended up winning silver.

That was a real Olympic moment.

It's probably going to come down between USA and Canada in Women's Hockey. Exciting. The USA team is really good (I haven't seen Canada in action). Against Germany today, they were kicking ass, but the German team was pretty bad.

Luge and skeleton are so scary, but I'd love to do one of them.

Yep, that's pretty much it for now. More about other stuff sometime after now.

Except I wish they'd close school tomorrow. I mean, OVER TWO FEET OF SNOW. How the hell'm I gonna get there? Walk? Yeah, no.
